Join us for a week of jaw-some activities to celebrate our ocean's most respected predator at Shark Preservation Week July 6 through July 12, 2026!
We will be offering Sawfish Conservation Labs on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m., where guests can learn about sawfish biology, conservation efforts, and ongoing research.
Additional activities throughout the week will include:
- Sawfish Puzzle Activity – An interactive activity that helps guests learn about sawfish anatomy and conservation.
- Shark Adaptations and Diet Activity – A hands-on activity exploring the unique adaptations that help sharks survive, as well as their feeding habits and role in marine ecosystems.
- Shark Conservation Activity – An educational activity highlighting shark conservation challenges and ways guests can help protect shark populations.
Times of activities are subject to change.
Activities are included in regular Science Center admission.
The Cox Science Center and Aquarium is located at 4801 Dreher Trail North in West Palm Beach.
