The premier event in Abacoa this summer—Mega Bash V—will take place on July 3 and 4 at Roger Dean Stadium. Following the 6:05 p.m. game between the Jupiter Hammerheads and St. Lucie Mets on Wednesday, July 3, Roger Dean Stadium will host a fireworks display from beyond the outfield wall.
On Thursday, July 4, Roger Dean Stadium will come together with the town of Jupiter, the town of Juno Beach and Abacoa to host the most spectacular fireworks display of the year, which will follow the 6:05 p.m. matchup between the Palm Beach Cardinals and Charlotte Stone Crabs.
Gates will open at 4:30 both days, with the fireworks shows tentatively scheduled for 9:00 p.m.
The streets across from Roger Dean Stadium in Abacoa will be blocked off at 4 p.m. on Thursday to make room for the thousands that are expected for the Independence Day celebration.
A live Billy Joel tribute band, “Piano Man” will rock the stadium Wednesday night, while Thursday night’s festivities will include a live ‘80s tribute band called “Lazey Bonez.” Individual tickets to either night are $9.50 for adults and $7.50 for seniors and children. Groups of 15 or more can receive a discounted rate of just $5.50 per ticket.
If you’re looking for a family atmosphere to celebrate the national holiday in North Palm Beach County, Roger Dean Stadium is the place to be! A mega kid’s area pass allows unlimited fun—featuring bounce houses, inflatable slides and more—for just $8. For fans who can’t make the game, a text messaging service will provide in-game updates so you won’t miss the fireworks.
Mega Bash V is the second of six premier events—dubbed the Super 6—at Roger Dean Stadium this summer. Following Mega Bash V, the remaining Super 6 events are: Swings & Wings, July 20; Baseball & Brews, Aug. 3; Back to School Night, Aug. 10 and Tiki Bash, Aug. 24.
