A girl named Peg…and her ever-present sidekick, a cat named…Cat. They’re the silly, engaging and just plain fun stars of PEG + CAT, an all-new problem solving adventure program on PBS KIDS! Each day, Peg and Cat find themselves in an all new place facing a new set of “big problems.” Luckily, Peg + Cat have handy math skills, like measuring, graphing, charting, and calculating, to help them accomplish their tasks and solve their problems. Filled with humor and music, PEG + CAT makes critical, foundational math concepts accessible, fun and amazingly entertaining!
PEG + CAT continues on PBS KIDS’ mission and legacy of helping young children gain the fundamentals that set the stage for a future of learning and success – in school and beyond. Today, approximately 60% of 4th graders are not proficient in math, and we can help to improve those statistics. Children need to know more than their ABCs and 123s when they walk into Kindergarten, and by adding this terrific new series from the Fred Rogers Company to the PBS KIDS lineup, WXEL is extending our commitment to help our kids be ready to learn when the time comes.
Your support is part of the formula! WXEL + You = Success! Please, do your part to help children in our community grow and learn by making a contribution right now. Tune in WXEL TV weekdays at 9AM and 3 PM WWW.WXEL.org
