June 9-13, Art of the Ancient World
Learn about ancient Egypt and Greece, their people, myths, places, and animals! So much of Western Art is rooted in the ancient world! Discover how to create vessels, jars, a musical instrument, and more!
June 16-20, Making Friends with the Masters
Discover the mediums and techniques of master artists such as Dali, Matisse, Monet, Picasso, and more!
June 23-27, Mixed Media Mayhem
Get ready to explore a wide range of materials! Delve into surrealism, design a sculpture, and create cool objects! Become an art pioneer!
June 30-July 3, America the Beautiful
America the Beautiful During this short week, we’ll learn about Folk art, make art like Grant Wood, Edward Hopper, and Jasper Johns, and use art to explore this vast and amazing country! (4 days, no camp 7/4)
July 7-11, All About Animals
Want to build a prehistoric t-rex in clay? How about designing an animal that doesn’t exist? This week, we’ll create animals out of papier-mâché, clay, and more!
July 14-18, Amazing Asia: Ancient Times to Anime
Learn about the art methods practiced by ancient artisans and then get current with the newest and hippest trends in Chinese, Indian, Japanese, and Korean art.
July 21-25, Me, Myself, and I: All About You!
Almost all great artists have at one time drawn, sculpted, or painted a self-portrait. Now you can follow in that tradition! We will create portraits in a variety of 2D and 3D media.
July 28 - Aug 1, Double Rainbow: All about Color
Color theory is one of the fundamentals of art and color choice impacts how we see the world, in advertising, art, and even wall color for example! Class Details
August 4-8, Finders Keepers
The Art of Found Objects. Have you ever wondered what amazing things you could make with everyday items? Kids will try their hand at making art as well as functional objects from everyday items, recycled materials, and found objects.
August 11-15, Rock, Paper, Scissors
Rock, Paper, Scissors: Mastering Mixed Media. Using a wide variety of materials and media such as printmaking, collage, and assemblage, students will explore different techniques and ways of creating art.
