Established in 1979, St. Mark's Episcopal School has built a reputation for offering a quality program for PK2 through eighth grade with an approach that goes beyond traditional academics. In addition to the core curriculum, enrichment classes are provided in Christian education, writing, Spanish, computer lab, science lab, library, and physical education. Additional offerings available in the middle school include French, visual art, graphic art, photography, drama, musical theater, personal fitness, vocal, and instrumental music.
After school program selections include sports, art, chorus, chimes, book club, and newspaper club. St. Mark’s students are consistently recognized throughout the community for outstanding achievement in academics and the arts.
In addition to the well-rounded academic program, a St. Mark’s education encompasses much more. With a strong focus on service to others, the students are engaged in community outreach from the earliest ages with collections and donations to those in need. The tradition continues in the middle school years with food and toy drives, service at a local soup kitchen, and service learning through a Christmas Caring project and a Kenyan relief venture.
