In celebration of St. Clare Catholic School's 50th anniversary, the school will be hosting an inaugural Fishing Tournament at the Sailfish Marina on Saturday, April 25, 2015, followed by a dinner and awards ceremony entitled "Bash at the Buc" at the Buccaneer Restaurant on Singer Island.
The KDW Fishing Tournament is a family-friendly event with a kids' prize category. Those who enter prior to April 5, 2015 will pay $200 per vessel. After April 5, the cost per boat is $275. The Fishing Tournament on April 25, 2015 begins at 7:00 am at Sailfish Marina with weigh in time at 3:00 pm. The mandatory Captain's Meeting is April 24 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Buccaneer. The 50th Anniversary "Bash at the Buc" is from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm with tickets only $35 per person.
"Our school continues to enrich the lives of children and is a cornerstone in the community," said Amy Lopez, Principal of St. Clare Catholic School. "All friends of St. Clare are invited to participate in this family-friendly tournament. One-hundred percent of all funds raised will go to establishing a state-of-the-art Media Center on campus."
