Join the South Florida Science Center for their upcoming fall and winter science adventure and tech adventure camps for young scientists ages 4-14. Campers will experience winter wonder experiments, engineer their way through Minecraft EDU, and compete in epic robot battles!
TECH-VENTURES (ages 7-14)
December 21-23 (Three-day camp) - Magical Minecraft:
Explore the world of Minecraft like you've never seen before in this educational version of one of the most popular games of today!
December 28-30 (Three-day camp) - Technology Today (ages 4-12):
Have you ever built a robot or light-up wearable jewelry? This technology adventure gives the young camper a basic introduction to the vast world of electronics. Students will watch light bulbs light up with a variety of gases, have their hair stand on end with a Van de Graaff generator, build with circuits, and create real working automated machines.
Cost:
-One-day camps: $60 for non-members, $55 for members.
-Three-day camps: $180 for non-members, $165 for members
SCIENCE-VENTURES (ages 4-12)
December 21-23 (Three-day camp)- Sub-Zero Science:
Get a chance to see some of the coolest experiments on Earth!
December 28-30 (Three-day camp)- Blizzard Blast Off:
Learn about the ice cold of space and how astronauts freeze-dry their food!
January 4 (One-day camp)- New Year Explosions:
Get prepared to return to school in explosive new ways!
Cost:
-One day camps: $50 for non-members, $45 for members.
-Three-day camps: $150 for non-members, $135 for members.
Time:
Camp runs from 9:00am-4:00pm. Before/After care (7:30am-5:30pm) is an additional charge of $10 per day.
