SO, when I heard about Shipt, I was eager to sign up and share my experience with you! And, I cannot tell you how excited I am to tell all you mamas and papas out there that you no longer have to dread grocery shopping! Because, yes, there is an app for that! Here's how it works:
1. Download the app on your mobile device or shop from your computer.
2. Choose a subscription plan, the monthly fee is $14.99 but it is only $99.00 for the entire year! That is only $8.25 a month- that is it for someone to go to Publix for you as many times as you need in a month!
3. Start shopping from Publix on your phone with the super easy to use Shipt app. Not only do they have a list of items broken down by category, they also have all of the sale and buy one get one free items for the week highlighted. So, if you are
shopping for say shredded cheese, and there is a bogo deal, it shows you and automatically puts 2 of that item in your cart! SO COOL.
4. You choose a one hour time window for delivery, which can be an hour after you place your order or a day or time in the future.
5. A shopper is then sent to do your shopping and will text you if any of the items are out of stock and if there is a substitution available.
6. You keep working, hang with your kids, do a much needed load of laundry, get your taxes done, read a book or daydream about that trip you will take with all the money you are saving on a sitter, gas, and the therapy you or your kids will need from the trauma induced by "grocery rage mom."
7. They deliver your groceries and all you have to do is put it all away. SO COOL.
