The Mandel JCC’s Beyond the Bell After-School Program Now Offering Bus Transportation From Local Elementary SchoolsComing off the tails of planning a wow-filled summer, we are planning a wow-filled fall! The Mandel JCC is excited to announce that our Beyond the Bell After-School Program is now offering transportation from Marsh Pointe Elementary School, Timber Trace Elementary School, Lighthouse Elementary School, and Beacon Cove Intermediate School and continuing service from Meyer Academy. Plus we’re making some new and improved changes to our existing program that your kids will love! Jewish Celebrations. There are many reasons we stand out from other after-school programs. Our weekly Shabbat and Jewish holiday celebrations enable the children to stay connected with Judaism in a non-religious school setting. We celebrate the traditions and culture as a continuation of what they’ve learned in pre-school or to introduce them to Jewish heritage in a fun and interesting way.We have swimming! Once a week participants will be swimming in our outdoor heated pool. What could be better after a long day at school in the hot Florida weather? Enough said!More activities! We’ve altered our schedule to include even more activities. Your child will be able to follow a schedule that works best for them. They have as much homework time as they need and when they are not doing homework they can choose to participate in a variety of activities like sports, music, science, dance, martial arts, and more!Part-Time Options. We know that kids have activities afterschool and that parents need flexibility in their day-to-day schedule. This is why we offer full and part-time options in our program. This includes not only part-time hours, but unlike most after-school programs we offer a three-day week option for Beyond the Bell participants. Sign up for the three days that best meet your needs plus choose between the 2-6pm or 2-4:30pm option.Discounted enrichment classes. Participants in Beyond the Bell receive 10% off enrichment class prices. We offer a variety of classes from sports to engineering for kids. Again, it’s a one-stop-shop so you don’t have to drive your child to and from activities. Once they are at the JCC, the activities come to them!It’s going to be a great year!
