Dance Theater of Florida presents The Nutcracker at the Eissey Campus Theater. Dance Theater Of Florida Is Bringing “The Nutcracker”, to delight South Florida audiences. There’s a new holiday tradition starting in town that dance and theater fans won’t want to miss.
Palm Beach Garden’s Dance Theater of Florida will be performing their full length Nutcracker, at the Eissey Campus Theatre, December 15, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. and December 16, 2018, at 2:00 p.m.
For over 100 years, The Nutcracker has charmed and filled the hearts of families all over the world. This year Dance Theater of Florida offers a Christmas gift to families in and around our community in what will be a highlight of the holiday season. The Nutcracker takes the entire family on Clara’s magical dream as her Nutcracker comes to life and she journeys to the Land of Sweets. The audience will enjoy inspiring choreography, lavish costumes, and lovely dancers including guest artists from Dimensions Dance Theatre, all set to Tchaikovsky’s timeless and splendid classical score. Come join Dance Theater of Florida at the Eissey Campus Theatre and add a new family tradition to your holidays. To the delight of local ballet fans, this production will feature special guest Jerry Opdenaker in the role of Herr Drosselmeyer. Mr. Opdenaker was formerly with Ballet Florida and now directs his own company, O Dance. Dance Theater of Florida will also be joined by guest artists Claudia Lezcano & Kevin Hernandez from Dimensions Dance Theater of Miami as well as Jefferson Payne, former soloist with Oklahoma City Ballet.
The Dance Theater of Florida presents The Nutcracker on Saturday, December 15th at 7:00 p.m. and December 16th at 2:00 p.m. Tickets to The Nutcracker range from $22 to $25 and are available by calling (561) 627-9797.
