Pet Diagnostics: Vet for a Day Educational Program for Kids

Vet for a Day is an educational program that exposes children to a career in veterinary medicine.

Children ages 6-11 are invited to participate in a fun exploration of the veterinary world. This includes hands-on anatomy models, applying bandages/wrap, practicing sutures, reading X-ray, reading slides on a microscope, and interactive games that promote learning.

Children ages 12-15 are offered more advanced workshop options including proper handling/restraining animals for examinations and for drawing blood, identifying normal organs on X-ray and diseases, practicing sutures, learning about zoonosis, learning different bloodwork machines including CBC/Chem/Lytes, Urinalysis, learning different types of medication.
