From fall and winter camps to a full summer of fun, the STEM Studio in Jupiter and the South Florida Science Center offer year-round excitement and learning for young scientists ages 5 to 12!
Fall and Winter Camps
September 30th, 2019 - One Day Camp: Shore Explorers (Ages 5-8) Discover life by the shore as we learn about sea turtle nests, their migrations and other marine creatures! Cost is $50
October 9th, 2019 - One Day Camp: Mars: The Final Frontier (Ages 8-12) Strap in and brace for impact as we learn how scientists study the Red Planet. Replicate their experiments and learn just how different Mars is from Earth. Cost is $60
October 18th, 2019 - One Day Camp: Back to Basics (Ages 5-8) Leave your computers and tablets at home as you join our scientists and explore the basics of chemistry. Learn how elements react with other elements and see how sometimes mixing two colors causes a change you didn't expect! Cost is $50
November 11th, 2019 - One Day Camp: Tech Invasion (Ages 8-12) Become a tech guru as you learn how 3D Design and virtual reality are the engineering of the future and take home your very own 3D printed craft! Cost is $60
Fall Break Camp - November 25th-27th, 2019: Molecular Gastronomy (Ages 5-8) You've been taught not to play with your food, but not anymore! Cook up food science as we create wild food experiments. We'll make edible spoons, trick our noses into eating the wrong foods and make our own instant ice cream. Cost is $155
Winter Camp - December 30th-31st, 2019: Lights, Camera, Action! (Ages 8-12) Learn about the science behind cinematography as you test your skills with cameras and sound. Let's get creative with iMovie and freeze-frame shots! Cost is $125
Winter Camp -January 2nd-3rd, 2020: Sub-Zero Science (Ages 5-8) Submerge yourself in a chilly adventure as we learn what it means to be below zero degrees Centigrade. From dry ice to liquid nitrogen, come explore the cold Florida never sees. Cost is $110
January 20th, 2020 - One Day Camp: Shark Sparks (Ages 5-8) Movies and shows have molded us to fear them, but sharks are friendly fish. Learn about our elasmobranch friends as we dive deep to debunk myths. Cost is $50
February 28th, 2020 - One Day Camp: CSI: STEM Studio (Ages 8-12) Oh no - There have been a string of thefts at STEM Studio! Become Crime Scene Investigators and help us track down the culprits. Learn how we test for fingerprints, blood samples and DNA to narrow down the list of suspects and solve the case. Cost is $50

We are a nut-free facility. Any food, snacks, or drinks containing these allergens are not permitted. Lunch available for purchase from Costello’s Trattoria. Must be purchased in person at camp on Monday mornings. $5 per student per day.
Classes are offered by the South Florida Science Center and Aquarium at STEM Studio in Downtown Abacoa. STEM Studio is located at 1209 Main Street Suite 112 in Jupiter, Florida and the South Florida Science Center is located at 4801 Dreher Trail North in West Palm Beach, Florida.
