The wait is over - winter session registration is now open for our after school science and coding programs!
Students can’t wait to touch, see, hear, and smell what science is really all about. Each week children engage in exciting, interactive, and educational hands-on activities that instill a clearer understanding of science and how it affects the world around them. All while having fun! On their way to becoming “Mad Scientists,” students take home a different science take home to expand on what they are learning and share with their parents.
The best part of our programs is it all happens right after school – at your school. The winter session will kick off the first week of December and run into February.

North County students in kindergarten to fifth grade - which includes schools in Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens, West Palm Beach, Wellington, Royal Palm Beach, and Lake Worth - will experience our “S.T.E.M.ulating Science” series. Each week kids will explore nine different topics that include Lab Works, Science of Toys, Space Technology, Optical Illusions, Super Sticky Stuff, Fantastic Flyers, and more.
South County students in kindergarten to fifth grade – which include Boynton Beach, Lantana, Delray Beach and Boca Raton – will “Get Loose in the Lab.” They will explore topics that include Space Travel, Kitchen Chemistry, Walloping Weather, Detective Science, Tantalizing Taste and more. Each of the nine weeks is a new science adventure.
Have older students at home?
Mission: Code is a unique after school experience that allows kids in grades third through fifth to learn essential coding skills while also engaging in active games and hands-on learning! Kids will develop computational thinking and problem-solving skills in an online game environment where you give a robot a set of instructions to follow in order to solve each level.
Both our science and coding after school programs are offered at our Mad Science Lab located in Jupiter too!

AT HOME EXPERIMENT

BOUNCING BUBBLES
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Straw
- Glass with distilled water
- Dish soap
WHAT YOU DO:
Step 1: In a small cup, pour 3 parts distilled water and 1 part dish soap.
Step 2: Use the straw to stir it up so that it is mixed in completely.
Optional: It works even better if you let your bubble mixture sit overnight!
Step 3: Coat your palm in some of the bubble mixture and then use the straw to blow a bubble into your hand.
