Science is sweet! During the Science of Chocolate, visitors will learn the science behind how chocolate is made, the chemical properties of chocolate, as well as its potential health benefits.

Featured Activities:

  • Learn about the history of chocolate
  • Explore the "Hall of Heroes" exhibit
  • Enjoy complimentary tasting stations of your favorite chocolates and a flowing chocolate fountain! 
  • Liquid Nitrogen Chocolate Ice Cream Demos
  • Get hands-on with the Cocoa Oobleck lab, Chocolate Jeopardy game, and Liquid Nitrogen Chocolate Ice Cream Demos for the entire family
  • Win Prizes for Completing the Chocolate Scavenger Hunt

This event is included with paid Science Center admission and free for members. Tickets purchased at the door. The onsite JB's Cafe will have lunch available for purchase.

Science Center admission (including the event) is as follows: $17.95 for adults, $15.95 for seniors, $13.95 for children ages 3-12, FREE for children under 3.
