By Gardens School of Technology Arts October 25, 2022

Gardens School of Technology Arts, a tuition-free K-8 public charter school in Palm Beach Gardens, is a High Performing Charter School in the State of Florida.

When K-8 students walk onto the campus of Gardens School of Technology Arts, they enter a world of unique opportunities, creative processes, and out-of-the-box learning. Gardens SOTA operates with a mission to provide unique tools in a cooperative learning setting that fosters creativity and problem solving throughout the school day.

In addition to a solid core academic program, students at all grade levels receive instruction and engage in activities covering three technology domains: Digital Art and Design, Programming and Engineering, and STEM Innovation. Students become familiar and comfortable with technologies that are permeating professional society and are the foundation for many 21st-century careers.

With only two classes per grade level K-8 and a total max enrollment of 364, they provide a small community school environment where every student is well-known by teachers, staff, and administration, parent involvement is valued and encouraged, and relationship building generates a welcoming family environment.

Their annual parent survey consistently reflects a parent satisfaction rate of over 92%, with a significant percentage communicating that expectations for their student’s learning experience and environment have been exceeded. Here are a few comments from their recent survey:

“I feel safe by having my son attend this school. Love the teachers and staff.”

“We really enjoy the small setting of the school. It is not overwhelming and it feels like a family atmosphere.”

“I love the school's small atmosphere. I love being able to communicate with my child's teachers at anytime. And they respond pretty quickly.”

“I like how much they are learning and the fact they love coming to school everyday.”

“My child is advancing more than her previous school.”

“My daughter loves the technological aspect to the school. I love the fact that it is so small… It allows them to get more individualized attention.”

“So far it’s been a wonderful experience, I feel closer to my kids and welcomed.”

“You all are doing a great job, keep it up! I love this school. It has exceeded my expectations.”
