To help honor our women and men serving in the armed forces, Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida (GSSEF) has created a one-day-only promotion to support their Cookies for the Military program while giving the community a chance to get FREE Girl Scout cookies.
On Friday, February 17, 2023, from 5 to 9 p.m., GSSEF will host its Give a Box, Get a Box event at 22 Duffy’s Sports Grill locations in South Florida. Anyone that donates a box of Girl Scout cookies to the Cookies for the Military program will receive a FREE box of Girl Scout cookies of their choice, while supplies last. The Give a Box, Get a Box event is sponsored by Publix Super Markets Charities and Duffy’s Foundation.
For the 15th year in a row, GSSEF is sponsoring its Cookies for the Military program. The program provides a great opportunity for the community to donate boxes or cases of Girl Scout cookies to our service women and men serving domestically or overseas while sending a “taste of home” to our troops. This year, the goal is to collect enough donations for 75,000 boxes of cookies. Because of the generosity of our community, GSSEF has sent more than 700,000 boxes of cookies to our troops since 2009.
