The Goldner Conservatory is a year-round theatre education program, but many of their students are seen on the Maltz Jupiter Theatre’s main stage working alongside industry professionals.
Conservatory students will be seen in the Maltz Jupiter Theatre’s original production of A Christmas Carol. They will appear as Cratchit children, poultry boys, and carolers throughout the show.
Kim Cozort Kay, the Director of Education states,” Our classes take the time to teach theatre basics of taking direction, listening to other characters, reading a scene with expression and confidence as well as finding your way upstage, downstage, the wings and backstage. By the time they arrive at a professional rehearsal, they feel empowered to bring their voice to the process. I really feel the Conservatory classes provide a gateway to our mainstage opportunities.”
A Christmas Carol runs from November 28 – December 10, 2023.
