Spring into action with classes offered in acting, dance, musical theatre, camera, and audition, plus a new class for those preferring to acquire skills in stage management, costume, and prop designs! The “Backstage Experience” class prepares those with technical skills to assist them this summer in their Conservatory productions of Mean Girls and The Wizard of Oz, JR.
For the performing artist, preparatory classes are offered for their summer productions as well.
Explore choreography and music from both shows taught by theatre professionals. According to Director of Education, Kim Cozort Kay, “Prep classes allow students to discover basic stagecraft, characters and themes from the show at a slower pace for comprehension. Even if they cannot be a part of the summer Conservatory productions of Mean Girls and The Wizard of Oz, JR., our classes offer a variety of skills for each student to take with them to any stage in their community as they learn from our top-notch professional team.“
