Find out why "We HEART Welaka!" this December! Camp Welaka is the beloved backdrop for this annual event where participants explore the gorgeous grounds and try some of our most popular outdoor activities.
This annual event is open to everyone... families, troops, friends, and explorers! Join us for a day of camp fun at Camp Welaka as we celebrate all things outdoors where you pick your adventure!
Activities include Fishing, Canoeing, Outdoor Cooking experiences (open fire), Archery (must be at least 8 years old), Slackline, Crafts, Hiking, and so much more!
This program is great for first-time camp visitors to see what camp has to offer as well as for returning visitors to enjoy a mix of their favorite activities at Camp Welaka.
The event will also have an optional photo scavenger hunt to help you explore the property and chronicle your adventure! Because who doesn't LOVE a selfie?
New this year, the Catwalk is back! Join us for one of the scheduled, guided hikes out to see this beautiful boardwalk through the mangroves.
Girl Scout membership is not required, however, pre-paid registration is. Also, closed-toe shows (like sneakers or boots) are required. Dress for the weather - this is a rain or shine event.

- Two days - Saturday and Sunday, December 7 and 8, 2024, from 10 am to 3 pm
- Anyone ages 8+ (fun for the whole family)
- Bring your own lunch (lunch break from 12:30 pm to 1:15 pm)
- $20 per person (early bird ends on November 22, 2024)
- Sign-ups for Archery, Canoeing, and Fishing available at time of registration
- Bring any chairs, blankets, etc., you would like
