The Young Singers of the Palm Beaches (YSPB), a beloved community children's choir that has been enriching the local music scene since 2003, is thrilled to announce the launch of a new satellite choir in North County. This new choir will follow in the footsteps of their successful South County choir and will welcome young vocalists in grades 3 through 5 from all schools or homeschool settings in the northern part of Palm Beach County.
The new YSPB North County Choir will be rehearsing at First Presbyterian Church at 717 Prosperity Farms Road, in North Palm Beach, on Thursdays at 5:30 p.m.
Auditions are now open for those interested in joining YSPB’s North County Choir, although no prior choral experience is required. For more information on how to enroll or to learn more about the program, visit the Young Singers of the Palm Beaches website at www.yspb.org.
The new North County choir will be led by YSPB Conductor Terrion Nelson, a highly respected music educator and performer in Palm Beach County. With over 30 years of experience in teaching and directing choral ensembles, Nelson brings a wealth of expertise and a deep passion for youth music education to the choir.
For over two decades, YSPB has provided exceptional musical opportunities for young people, nurturing not just their vocal talent, but their growth as confident and creative individuals. With the addition of the North County satellite choir, the organization is continuing its mission to expand access to high-quality choral education across the region.
Just like their South County counterpart, the new North County choir allows children to come together and form a community that celebrates diversity and collaboration through music.
