The Young Singers of the Palm Beaches (YSPB), Palm Beach County’s premier community children’s choir, has expanded north! Known for inspiring young vocalists since 2003, YSPB has launched their North County Choir, and is now welcoming all young voices in grades 3 through 5 to come audition and be part of something special.
This exciting satellite choir builds on the success of YSPB’s thriving South County program and offers children from any school or homeschool setting a chance to sing, learn, and shine. No prior choral experience is needed — just a love of music and a willingness to grow.
Rehearsals for the North County Choir will be held Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church (717 Prosperity Farms Road, North Palm Beach), making it easy and convenient for families in the northern communities.
Auditions will take place Saturday, August 16th for all three YSPB locations — Kravis Center, South County, and the new North County Choir — at the Cohen Pavilion at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach. Whether your child dreams of performing on stage or simply wants to build confidence and friendships through music, this is the perfect place to begin!

All of YSPB’s satellite choirs are led by the dynamic Terrion Nelson, a music educator and conductor with over 30 years of experience. Her passion and leadership bring out the very best in every young singer — from first-time performers to seasoned vocalists.
Young Singers isn’t just about music — it’s about community, creativity, and confidence. Children in North and South County choirs join the full YSPB family for two spectacular mainstage concerts at the Kravis Center, including the beloved holiday tradition, “Winter Tapestry.” These concerts unite hundreds of voices and hearts, creating unforgettable memories and standing ovations.
For more than two decades, YSPB has empowered young people through high-quality, inclusive music education — teaching teamwork, leadership, self-expression, and the joy of performance. With the launch of the North County Choir, even more children in Palm Beach County will have the chance to be part of this musical movement.
