On the second Friday of every month, rock out with a nostalgic throwback to the classic laser light spectacles you know and love. From Daft Punk to Michael Jackson, we’re integrating music from some of the greatest artists of our time with mind-blowing laser light visuals.

Please note: Laser show themes change monthly. Advance tickets go on sale on our website one month in advance of the show date. Admission to laser shows only includes a portion of Science Center exhibits. Each show lasts approximately 45-55 minutes. Cost: $11 for members; $13 for non-members.

September 13th:

6PM | NEW! Laser Gorillaz: A universe of depth, color, and imagery pulls you along on a virtual excursion through musical fiction. Laser Gorillaz brings to light the inspirations of an incredibly visual sound with influences of pop, hip hop, dub, reggae, rock, electronic and alternative. The storytelling, music, and imagination of the Gorillaz has become known worldwide and now you are invited along as we explore this imagery through the medium of laser technology.

7PM | NEW! Laser Daft Punk: In the world of electronic music, few names are as revered as Daft Punk. The French duo has not only redefined the boundaries of their genre but also created a legacy that transcends their enigmatic personas. Laser Daft Punk is an exciting tribute to the visual spectacle of the costumed pair, and their extravagant live shows.

8PM | NEW! Laser Beastie Boys: The Beastie Boys is one of modern music’s most influential and creative forces, mixing rap with sampling, humor, and rock. Although the Beastie Boys first found fame as a rude 'n' crude party band, the hip-hop pioneers eventually settled into a more conscious groove driven by clever wordplay, inventive genre splicing, and elaborate videos. Laser Beastie Boys channels the energy of their 80s and 90s hits into an amazing visual experience.

Guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets to set up their own area on the amphitheater lawn. Food available for purchase at food trucks.
