Birthday Parties at Local Parks

Find the perfect location for your next party!

By Deborah Graham February 14, 2021

When it comes to party planning, one of the most important details is choosing a location. If you are looking for a spacious venue with minimal clean-up and an inviting atmosphere, consider hosting your next birthday party at a local park. As long as weather conditions are favorable, these locations are excellent for large, cost-effective gatherings.

The following are several local city and county parks that are ideal for the perfect birthday bash:

City of Palm Beach Gardens

The Burns Road Recreation Center, located at 4404 Burns Rd., is perfect for a relaxing, indoor, air-conditioned gathering. The center has 40,000 square feet of indoor area including two gymnasiums, an auditorium, dance room, fully equipped art room, and a kitchen that will surely meet all of your party needs. Surrounded by multiple outdoor playgrounds, this facility is known as one of the city’s most popular birthday sites for children under 7.

PGA National Park is another highly recommended children’s park and is located at the corner of Northlake Blvd. and Hiatt Drive. Your guests can enjoy a fully accessible playground, 3 lighted multi-purpose fields, a youth basketball court, and a disc golf course. There are 2 spacious picnic pavilions available for rental. All parties that utilize the outdoor facilities must submit a permit application and provide a certificate of insurance. Please note that all bounce house rentals that are brought onto park grounds must be weighted down (not staked) and there must be an attendant from the company present at all times. With such beautiful backdrops and impressive amenities, the Gardens parks tend to fill up very quickly. Make sure you book your event well in advance. Please call (561) 630-1100 for more information.
